I have been an Art educator in the Pinellas County Public School System for 35 years and have taught all levels K-12. Currently I'm a teacher on special assignment in the Visual Arts Department of Pinellas County assisting teachers to integrate digital technology into the making and teaching of Art. I am especially interested in how using digital media can help students develop their personal imagery by helping them become aware of their environment, recording parts of that environment that tells their personal story, and discovering the influence their environment has on them and the Art they make.
Originally, I made Art image examples to demonstrate techniques and processes to students. I soon started making my own digital Art. Now my main tools are my iPhone, iPad, and when I need it my computer. My goal is to make all images on the iPhone and iPad.
